Hi,

I managed to send the control panel/status SysEx to my Yamaha P-90 with MainStage 3.2.4. The control panel/status SysEx stores the configuration of the piano such as split, layers, effects, balance etc...

Here is what I did :

1) Record the SysEx with Logic Pro 9 and move the event to the start position ;

2) Export to MIDI file ;

3) At patch level, create an external instrument channel with the output to the right MIDI port and MIDI channel 1-16 ;

4) In this channel inspector, in MIDI output, enable 'Send MIDI file' and select the MIDI file.

I did the same for each song (one piano configuration per song) so the piano is well configured each time I go to the next patch.

Check with MIDI Monitor that the SysEx is well sent to your keyboard.
